Driving by the demands of downstream market, China's gear industry develops rapidly. In 2013, the total output of the countrywide gears was 2.2638 million tons, increasing by 5.47% compared with that of last year. The output value reached CNY 208 billion, increasing by 6.6% compared with that of last year. The gear industry is mainly composed of three kinds of enterprises: vehicle gear transmission manufacturing enterprises; Industrial use-gear transmission manufacturing enterprises, specific gear equipment manufacturing enterprise. According to the statistics of sales in China, vehicle gear outshined others with a 60% market share; and the industrial use gear which composed of gears for general industrial use, exclusive industrial use and special use, and each took up 18%, 12% and 8% market share; while gear equipment only took up 2%.
